Log into your Steam account
To begin changing your avatar in Dota 2, you’ll need to log into your Steam account. If you don’t already have one, you can create one easily by visiting the Steam website and following the onscreen instructions. Once you have logged in, you’ll be ready to continue with the steps below.
Go to your profile
Once you have logged into your Steam account, you will need to go to your profile. To do this, click on your username in the upper right corner of the Steam window. This will open a drop-down menu with several options. Click “Profile” from the menu.
This will bring you to your profile page. Here you will be able to view your current profile information, as well as update it. On the left side of the page, you will find several tabs including “Overview”, “Badges”, “Friends” and “Avatar”. To change your avatar, click on the “Avatar” tab.
Click on Edit Profile
When you are in your profile, click on the Avatar tab. This will bring up a window showing your current avatar as well as several options to change it. To actually change your avatar, click on the “Edit Profile” button located at the top right corner of the window.
This will open a new window with several options to choose from. From here, you can select an image from your own computer or use one of the many pre-loaded options available.
You can also choose to take a photo of yourself if you have a webcam. Once you have selected your new avatar, click on the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the window to save your changes.
Click on the Avatar tab
Once you have clicked on Edit Profile, the next step is to click on the Avatar tab. This tab will give you access to different image options that you can use as your avatar.
You can select any image from the selection of Dota 2 game avatars provided by Valve, or upload one of your own images. To do this, you will need to choose an image that is within the resolution and file size requirements listed in the Avatar tab. Once you have selected your avatar, click the ‘Save changes’ button at the bottom of the page to save your new profile picture.
Select the image you want to use as your avatar
Once you’ve clicked on the Avatar tab, you will see several options for choosing the image that you would like to use as your avatar. You can either select from pre-made Dota 2 avatars, or upload a custom image.
For pre-made avatars, there are several options to choose from. The avatars are grouped into categories and themes, such as Nature, Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Superheroes. You can browse through these categories to find one that best suits your taste. You can also type in keywords in the search box to find an avatar quickly.
If you want to use a custom image as your avatar, click on the “Upload Image” button at the bottom of the page. You will then be prompted to select the image file that you want to use. Be sure that the image you select is under the maximum size limit of 2MB. Once you have chosen the image file, click on the “Upload” button to upload the image and make it your avatar.
Once you have selected an avatar, click on the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page to make it your profile picture. Congratulations! You now have a new avatar in Dota 2.
Click Save changes
Once you have found the avatar that you would like to use, click “Save changes” at the bottom of the page. This will save your new avatar, and it will be visible on your profile page. Your friends and fellow Dota 2 players will now see your new avatar.
It is important to note that this change may not be immediate, and it could take up to a few minutes for the changes to appear on your profile page.
